No, not much snow in Oregon...or at least the Willamette (Will- am - it) Valley, which is where Portland and Eugene are. Eugene is an interesting town. University of Oregon. Hippie town. Only 2 hours to Portland...90 minutes to the beach. Lots of bike trails. Skiing is 90 minutes. Not a bad place to live.
